LRA Regulatory Cohort for Senior Managers and Directors 2021

LRA Regulatory Cohort for Senior Managers and Directors 2021

In keeping with the highly successful Lucy Rose and Associates cohort format of over 10 years, we are pleased to announce the formation of a new, highly innovative, application-based, ad/promo regulatory cohort customized for senior managers and directors, the LRA Regulatory Cohort for Senior Managers and Directors.

2021/22 DATES:

  • September 13, 2021

  • December 6, 2021

  • March and June 2022 meeting dates to be determined, but announced before November 2021

WHY

There are no community pharmaceutical/bio industry experiences designed to create a safe environment over time for senior managers/directors in the ad/promo regulatory space to grow and share. In our rapidly changing world, it is essential to safely share knowledge, adapt as quickly as possible, while continuously developing as a leader. It is also critical to build relationships throughout industry, learning from other experts in a maximized experience, safe from sharing concerns. This cohort experience is specifically designed to fill that void.

WHY A COHORT?

A cohort is a group of people with shared characteristics. In this case, I created regulatory cohorts as a mechanism for professionals from diverse companies to come together in a highly safe and supportive environment, a true community  -  to learn, share, grow. As such, our cohorts are about each member’s growth, which in so doing, benefits the sponsoring company. For that reason, the members are the professionals, not the companies. Membership is by application, based on the applicant’s experience and position, and is not automatically transferable to another member of the company should the member need to leave the cohort. As the community is the center of our work together, only cohort members can attend meetings.

This cohort experience will be designed to facilitate learning in numerous areas required for successful leadership in these roles, such as:

  1. Current environmental issues (i.e., use of AI and automation, virtual medical conferences, changes in hiring practices for MLR employees, changing in existing technology platforms, etc)

  2. Interacting with OPDP (i.e., how to increase credibility, advisory submission strategies, similarities/differences between OPDP and APLB

  3. Leading people (i.e., product knowledge transfer, recruiting, good review practices, continued development, team building strategies, etc)

  4. Technical/SME (i.ie, broadcast ads, social media, assessing risk with new technologies, designing evidence early in drug development, systematic approach to evidence assessment, etc.)

WHO

Identified leaders at the senior manager level or higher, with at least 5 years working in the pharmaceutical/bio ad/promo ecosystem, who want to grow professionally, gain information to improve processes and decision-making, better understand the regulatory environment and requirements, become a member of a supportive industry community, and position themselves to successfully lead their company and the industry into an impactful future.

This cohort is limited to 20 participants to ensure maximal sharing and learning.

What is included in the cohort experience?

  1. Participate in a 12-month ad/promo content/leadership cohort – a supportive community of fellow leaders - for senior managers and directors

  2. Learn from quarterly full-day cohort gatherings via zoom

  3. Enjoy at least two virtual social gatherings to enable deeper community building

  4. Grow in understanding of environmental and technical industry considerations

  5. Grow as a leader – both personally AND as a team leader

  6. Learn from Guest Speakers, as identified, and possible

  7. Receive a certificate of participation/Badge upon completion
